摘要: This research investigates the decay of rock masses underlying slopes, and seeks to quantify relations such with time geotechnical parameters slope mass. Decay can greatly affect properties rocks within engineering timescales, may induce a rapid change in mass strength, from initial rock-like soil-like weathered state., as well notable decrease stability. Several types are known have high susceptibility most notably mudstones gypsum-bearing formations. A close relationship has been found between weathering intensity rates, orientation prevailing wind directions during rainfall events, influence damage by applied excavation method. The exact relation differs one unit another depending on principal processes that act each individual unit. These be used predict rates therefore also degree function time. With use probabilistic stability assessment method, predictions for future made.
