摘要: The chemical weathering rate of rock substrates by saxicolous lichens was measured quantitatively and compared with the bare in Cone Pond area at Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest, USA. experiments used mini watersheds (<1 m2) on outcrops mica–schist. A laboratory watershed experiment a thin-section analysis were also conducted during course study. Computed cumulative flux ratios lichen covered versus bare-rock for Mg2+ (16±7) Si (4±0.3) significant. denudation calculated to be higher than watershed. demonstrated same trend elemental fluxes K+, Mg2+, Na+ Si. rind beneath between 0.2 0.5 mm thick. These results show significance biotic enhancement weathering. This research supported studies as reliable method study lichens, bryophytes plants thin soil alpine areas.
