摘要: The general aspects of germ cell tumors common to all occurring at different sites are discussed in the chapters gonadal (see Chap. 39). In thorax, almost exclusively develop midline locations, mostly anterior mediastinum. Therefore, it has been debated whether such extragonadal tumors, particular teratomas may originate from somatic stem cells. On other hand, there is molecular evidence that both and indeed primordial cells stages development. Thus, examination epigenetic control genomic imprinting reveals a methylation pattern characteristic during shortly after their migration early embryonal development (Schneider et al. 2001b; Bussey 2001). addition, this distinguishes with presumed origin as nephroblastoma (Sievers 2005), thus substantiating hypothesis specific origin.
