摘要: ABSTRACT This study sought to get a better understanding of the nature social workers' adjustment their new work environments. Its purpose was (1) identify tactics that human service organizations use for socializing newly hired workers, (2) assess relationship between various socialization tactics, and outcomes role ambiguity conflict. A survey administered 210 MSW students from two successive annual graduating classes major southern university. The questionnaire included measures (Jones, 1986), conflict (Rizzo, House, & Lirtzman, 1970). Among used socialize workers into were serial, investiture, collective, random, variable, informal. Results suggest affect Specifically, individual, fixed lead lower ambiguity, whereas investiture tactic leads
