摘要: In this paper, nano-silica with and without surface modification was added into linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) to prepare LLDPE/silica or LLDPE/Aluminun trihydrate (ATH)/silica composites. Effects of on the dispersibility silica in LLDPE combustion behaviors composites were investigated by Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) cone calorimeter (CONE). The results showed not well dispersed owing severe aggregation particles its poor compatibility LLDPE. Improved modified found because improved Obvious decrease peak-HRR value observed. Well after modification, as proved TEM, should be contributed decreased peak-HRR. Because shapes two curves similar, it concluded that mechanistic reason for HRR come mainly from physical effects surface.
