摘要: This work reports on a colorimetric platform for determination of chromium ions (Cr3+) and mercury (Hg2+) using silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) capped with cytosine triphosphate (CTP). The AgNPs were synthesized one-step by reduction AgNO3 in the presence CTP. It was found that such aggregate Cr3+. results decrease intensity surface plasmon resonance (SPR) band at 390 nm formation new red-shifted 510 nm, consequently color change from yellow to red. Different Cr3+-induced aggregation AgNPs, exposure Hg2+ causes layer around AgNPs. This, turn, SPR absorption undergo slight blue shift, this fading color. findings are basis developing method quantification either Cr3+ or Hg2+, detection limits 6.25 μM 0.125 respectively. applied two spiked drinking water lake samples, recoveries ranged 94.5% 101.3% Cr3+, 96% 108% which is satisfactory quantitative assays performed samples.
