摘要: d-Ribose and its derivative, 2-deoxy-d-ribose, are components of RNA DNA, respectively. It is interest that these pentoses such important biopolymers in the hereditary material organisms whereas other ubiquitous pentoses, l-arabinose d-xylose, usually present plant cell walls. Why pentose nucleic acids d-ribose 2-deoxy-d-ribose an unresolved problem; D-ribose derivatives have been also found widely nature.
