Sexual Activity in Heart Failure Patients: Information Needs and Association with Health-Related Quality of Life.

摘要: (1) Background: the main objective of this study was to investigate information needs concerning sexual activity and experienced problems in heart failure (HF) patients and, addition, examine association between these health-related quality life (HRQoL); (2) Methods: cross-sectional study, three self-administered questionnaires were distributed 77 stable ambulatory HF acquire data on HRQoL, problems, need for counselling; (3) Results: More than half (56.7%) a marked decrease or total cessation due their illness. Additionally, more one-third perceived absence pleasure (42.5%), interest (32.9%), constant being unable perform (37.3%). Furthermore, 43.1% an important overall counselling activity, with relationships (69.2%), symptoms (58.5%), relaxation (49.2%) most desired topics. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that independently associated (t = 3.19, p < 0.01) related poor HRQoL; (4) Conclusion: by investigating patients, alignment current practice patients' expectations might be obtained.
