摘要: This study was carried out with Damascus (Shami) goats and German Fawn x Hair goat (B1) crossbreds at Mustafa Kemal University. Animals were housed in semi-open sheds under semi-intensive conditions. Both groups fed 600 g/head per day of concentrate grazed a pasture during lactation. Moulted cashmere harvested by combing February, March, April, 2005, 14-day intervals. The dimensions fibres determined measuring 25 from each using Visopan microscope; fibre length measured ruler. Mean diameter for Shami the calculated as 13.5 ± 0.1 mm 18.3 0.2 cm, 12.6 18.5 respectively. Results also revealed that both showed considerable variation genotypes across moulting days season.
