摘要: Milk yields and milk compositions of 2 different goat breeds with high yields, the Damascus (Shami) German Fawn x Hair crossbred (B1), were monitored during lactation in order to evaluate their performance under Eastern Mediterranean conditions as an alternative which has a low yield shorter period. The was recorded by ICAR A4 method at 28-day intervals throughout 240 days lactation. After weaning on 60th day lactation, samples collected analysed for components. results showed that there no significant difference between gross these (P > 0.05). average yield, total solids, protein, fat, lactose ash contents 347.6 - 19.05 316.8 35.61 l, 12.2 0.16 12.4 0.28 (%), 3.5 0.07 3.4 0.11 4.3 0.12 4.1 0.23 3.6 0.08 4.2 0.77 0.02 0.72 0.03 crossbred, respectively. It concluded breeding both should be encouraged region Turkey increase production since had higher than reported literature.
