摘要: The mode of action the fungicide metalaxyl againstPlasmopara halstedii, causal agent sunflower downy mildew, was studied following its application before, during and after artificial contamination seedlings. development fungus within treated seedlings examined microscopically compared to that occuring in untreated genetically susceptible or resistant genotypes. Hypersensitive-like reactions necrotic zones leading inhibition growth hypocotyl were observed for three modes application. This suggests defence mechanisms activated by genetical resistance are also involved control mildew metalaxyl.
