Multimedia information services enabling: an architectural approach

摘要: This paper presents a scalable and extendable architecture consisting of the essential building blocks for multimedia information services. It provides transport, storage, retrieval, filtering, presentation, together with their interdependencies. After presenting overall architecture, we focus in more detail on 3-level modeling querying data. Emphasis is placed support wide variety techniques context coherent architecture. The description followed by possible implementation focusing specific techniques. Finally, use architectural components number example retrieval show.
