摘要: Abstract We have recently developed a computer program for measuring midsagittal sections of the human corpus callosum, similar to one used rat. Callosal area, perimeter, axis length, and 99 widths 104 subjects were entered into factor analysis in order define regional clusters. Seven width factors obtained. Regional found be sensitive Sex × Handedness interactions anterior body, with right-handed females left-handed males being larger. In posterior body had wider callosa than females. A further within ‘isthmus’ region compared consistent non-consistent Consistent both female groups smaller males. These findings confirmed use consistency handedness as an important independent variable respect callosal morphology.
