摘要: The aim of this magnetic resonance imaging study was to find a geometrical characterization the deeper part corpus callosum. Its shape studied in 12 middle-aged persons free white matter pathology. Profiles curvatures were measured showing that surface close minimal one, especially at genu and near splenium. To assess effect pathology on these features, same measurements performed an extra group nine patients with definite multiple sclerosis. hypothesis profiles parallelism for two groups could be rejected 0.05 confidence level mean but not Gaussian ones. Curvatures may give indications balance between cortex fiber bundles growth rates during development large scale modifications cooccurring multilocular pathologies.
