摘要: Iranian nesting populations of the critically endangered hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricate) are some most important in Indian Ocean. In this study, four grounds Persian Gulf, situated within three marine protected areas, were surveyed during season, including Nakhiloo, Ommolgorm and Kharko Islands mainland beaches Naiband Marine-Coastal National Park (NMCNP). We present GIS maps these key describe sand texture zones, along with conservation recommendations. About 9.2 (28.3%) out 32.5 km all shores study used by turtles follows: Nakhiloo: 1.4 (52% potential area); Ommolgorm: 1.94 (40%); Kharko: 3.4 (28%), NMCNP: 2.46 (18.9%). The average density was calculated as 131 nests/km at 76 Ommolgorm, 7 Kharko, 15 nests per NMCNP. Highest observed Nakhiloo Ommolgorm. It is thought that high islands seems likely a result limiting adequate rather than size population, also low NMCNP more related to past current pressures population density. With exception Island, sands well sorted. Grain indicated female Gulf nest generally mixed, mean grain ranging from coarse (0.4Φ; ~0.5-1 mm) fine (2Φ; ~0.25 mm). provide discuss recommendations suggestions for future.
