摘要: The genus Marphysa is widely collected for bait by recreational fishermen in Australia, and yet the number of species remains unresolved. A new described together with additional information on a previously species. This study reveals that while superficially resemble one another, detailed studies distribution different types chaetae along body, molecular studies, uncover which may co-occur. Correct identification critical management these largely intertidal also highlights increasing awareness presence pseudo-cryptic polychaetes.
