摘要: The main purpose of this paper is to present a methodology using compound road environments in modeling accidents which was developed PhD study. technique presented involves evaluating the influence pavement surface properties accidents. Nowadays, most common method studying certain features consider uniform segments characterized by unique feature. However, when an accident related infrastructure, its cause usually not single characteristic but rather combination characteristics. Therefore, here looks at as complete environment, thereby overcoming limitations inherent considering only sections. proposed consists of: (i) dividing sample roads into segments; (ii) grouping them quite homogeneous cluster analysis, characteristics like traffic, geometry and weather conditions; (iii) identifying skid resistance texture depth on each environment generalized linear models; (iv) validating results doing simulations virtual scenarios with different PC-Crash software reproduce vehicle crashes. In terms implementing maintenance programs, these are primary importance determining threshold levels depth. scientific knowledge, analysis used identify innovative valid alternative way choosing be prediction models it considers instead ones.
