Power deposition measurements in deuterium and helium discharges in JET MKIIGB divertor by IR-thermography

摘要: Abstract One of the outstanding problems for a next step fusion device is handling power fluxes into divertor, in particular regarding fast transient heat deposition by edge localised modes (ELMs). For device, such as ITER, type-I ELMy H-Mode reference discharge and therefore interest. At JET thermography system with high time resolution able to resolve temperature evolution during between ELM periods; here, analysis focussed so far on discharges frequencies 10–35 Hz. Influences from surface layers target tiles are investigated special taken account. Results about distribution inter-ELM inner outer divertor plates presented. Additionally, characteristic (or rise time) its dependence pedestal parameters studied. The thermal impact due ELMs ITER calculated together predictions relative midplane losses flux target. predicted values based conservative assumptions exceed material limits.
