摘要: Electrophilic activation, which may be defined as the substitution of a transition metal center for proton to generate new metal–carbon bond, is basis number promising approaches selective catalytic functionalization alkanes. The field was introduced by groundbreaking chemistry exhibited aqueous chloroplatinum complexes, reported Shilov in early 1970s. Since then has expanded greatly, and electrophilic alkane activation been demonstrated using wide variety species. These include ligand-supported platinum complexes; complexes additional late metals, most commonly palladium but also iridium, gold others; even post-transition metals such mercury. That body work surveyed here, with particular emphasis on mechanistic understanding, examples actual at sp 3 -hybridized C–H bonds alkanes related compounds, assessment further development that will needed practical applications.
