摘要: Abstract Genetic variation and structure of four natural populations Paramichelia baillonii (Pierre) Hu (family Magnoliaceae) from China were assessed using random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers morphological characters. For RAPD analysis, 17 primers generated a total 152 discernible reproducible bands across the analyzed, out which 63 (41.4%) polymorphic. The Shannon's index (Ho) varied with population, ranging 0.555 to 1.121, an average value 0.955. mean diversity at species level was Hsp = 1.217. Most genetic found within population although pair-wise ΦST values Bartlett's test indicated significant differentiation among populations. between-population component comprised 21.1% 15.7% variation, respectively, as by AMOVA analysis. gene flow (Nm) ranged moderate 0.464 (between YL YE) high 4.128 YP YE), 1.570. results for P. are generally in accordance those already recorded other outcrossing tropical tree species. characters, principal analysis showed that first two components explained 77.6% whole phenotypic variability, but dispersion plot all families defined did not show any grouping. overall quantitative traits (QST) is 0.07 less than (ΦST, 0.157). QST estimates significantly correlated (r = 0.8643, P = 0.0264) while correlation between Euclidean distance matrices based on data low non-significant (r = −0.0189, P = 0.3103). information obtained here could be valuable devising strategies conservation domestication baillonii.
