摘要: Abstract Background Group A rotavirus is the leading cause of acute gastroenteritis in children worldwide. We investigated G and P genotypes group strains isolated from patients during 2013 which were identified vaccinated patients. Methods From January to December 2013, 2235 fecal specimens tested for antigen, 374 (16.7%) showed positive results. Strains 288 rotavirus-positive genotyped using PCR sequencing, individual patients’ corresponding vaccine histories through Korean Center Disease Control website. Results G2 (22.6%) P[4] (24.0%) most frequently genotypes, respectively; accordingly, G2P[4] (19.8%) was prevalent G/P genotype observed this period. G4P[6] (10.1%) second mostly detected neonates. Other G1P[8], G9P[8], G1P[6], G3P[6], also detected. Of specimens, 48 obtained previously VP7 epitope analysis G1P[8] at least one amino acid differences comparison with Rotarix RotaTeq strains. The genotypic distribution Korea has been shown temporal geographical differences. Conclusion This study that both unvaccinated 2013. However, it unclear whether change predominant due effect vaccination or natural variation.
