摘要: Choroid plexus papilloma is an uncommon tumour of the central nervous system, accounting for less than 1% all intracranial neoplasm. The usual locations are lateral ventricle in infants and children fourth adults. third a rare location, with few cases reported literature. We describe case 3-month-old boy who was admitted to our centre signs raised pressure. Neuroimaging studies showed ventricular mass associated hydrocephalus. patient underwent complete removal through transfrontal approach ventriculo-peritoneal shunt surgery. Postoperative course child uneventful follow-up magnetic resonance imaging revealed no residual tumour. Histopathology resected lesion confirmed diagnosis choroid papilloma. discuss clinical, radiological histological features this infrequent type tumours.
