Choroid plexus papilloma of the third ventricle: A rare infantile brain tumor.

摘要: Choroid plexus papilloma (CPP) represents an uncommon pediatric brain tumor with overall incidence less than 1% of all intracranial tumors. Most these tumors occur in the lateral ventricles neonates. Third ventricular location is uncommon, limited to a few case reports. These highly vascular retain physiological function choroid and thus lead overproduction cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), besides obstructing CSF pathway. Imaging fairly sensitive specific affording diagnosis this tumor.
