摘要: Groundwater quality and aquifer productivity of Malacca catchment in Peninsular Malaysia are presented this article. Pumping test data were collected from 210 shallow 17 deep boreholes to get well inventory information. Data analysis confirmed that the aquifers consisting schist, sand, limestone volcanic rocks most productive for groundwater state. GIS-based map was generated based on bedrock discharge capacity aquifers. Aquifer is classified into three classes, namely high, moderate low capacity. potential study area 35, 57 8% low, high class respectively. Fifty two 14 samples analyzed water quality. In some cases, indicated turbidity, total dissolved solids, iron, chloride cadmium concentrations exceeded limit drinking standards
