摘要: Aims: This study investigated the effectiveness of laser-assisted in-office bleaching and home-bleaching in sound demineralized enamel. Materials Methods: The sample consisted 120 freshly-extracted bovine incisors. Half specimens were stored a demineralizing solution to induce white spot lesions. Following exposure tea for 7.5 days, randomly assigned 4 groups 30 according type enamel procedure employed. Groups 1 2 teeth subjected home bleaching, whereas 3 4, respectively. A diode laser (810 nm, W, continuous wave, four times 15 seconds each) was employed assisting process. color measured before (T1) after (T2) staining during (T3) (T4) procedures using spectrophotometer. change (ΔE) between different treatments stages compared among groups. Results: There significant differences T2 T3 (ΔE T2–T3) T4 T2–T4) (p<0.05). Pairwise comparison by Duncan test revealed that both ΔET2–T3 ΔET2–T4 significantly greater submitted (group 1) as other (P< 0.05). Conclusion: Laser-assisted could provide faster whitening effect than on stained enamel, but produced comparable results teeth.
