摘要: Preparation and analyses of a series hydroxyapatites (HA) containing 1-10 mol % Ca2+ replaced by Sr2+ is reported. The solubility these apatites found to increase with increasing content Sr2+, 10% SrHA dissolves faster than CaHA at given values phosphate concentrations, but similar rate the same degree saturation. inhibit rates both dissolution growth pH 7.2, being more strongly inhibited SrHA. effect partial substitution in hydroxyapatite on bone mineral (BMC) density (BMD) measured dual energy X-ray absorptiometry has been studied using three commercial densitometers. Extrapolating absorption data for up replacement 100% HA leads an apparent BMC or BMD about factor 10. This agreement theoretical calculations attenuation coefficients atoms concerned. It concluded that existing scanners register artificially high if contains significant amounts other metal ions atomic number larger calcium.
