摘要: In this paper we will argue that the dominant discourse on young males 'at risk' focuses too narrowly adolescent and adult years. There is a tendency to individualise, both practically theoretically, behaviours are thought substantiate application of category. Against backdrop, report study undertaken with group 6-8 year old boys in primary school setting. The research was compiled around interactions an 'affinity group' five across six-month period. Prominent our discussion data be, contextual nature behaviour identity, influential role peer group, desire 'other' defining self.
