Degranulation of Rat Cerebellum Induces Selective Variations in Gene Expression

摘要: : Selective variations in the composition of poly(A)-containing mRNA were found to be induced rat cerebellum by X-irradiation. populations prepared from normal and X-irradiated cerebella at different stages their development displayed equal efficiencies when translated vitro reticulocyte lysates. Specific differences revealed, however, labeled translation products both preparations subjected two-dimensional gel electrophoresis followed fluorography dried gels. Of more than 100 polypeptide products, several showed marked intensity differences, indicating changes abundance directing species. These appear developing mature cerebellar mRNA, extent modification is much higher consequent proteins irradiated cerebellum. The degranulation-induced modifications levels specific species can used identify whose biosynthesis depends on presence interneurons.
