摘要: Malnutrition may appear to increase or decrease the severity of a parasitic disease, but fundamental mechanisms that influence such synergistic antagonistic relationship have yet be identified. Several factors must considered in an evaluation possible relationships. They include species and virulence parasite; nutritional requirements severity, duration, type malnutrition host; lastly, competence immune other resistance host. Because system impaired by malnutrition, fails provide protection against most infections, has known propensity for producing harmful as well beneficial responses, immunological functions host are undoubtedly key indicators whether will cause f disease.
