摘要: BACKGROUND: Commercial experience suggests that desi chickpea cultivars vary in their milling quality. However, the relative effects of cultivar, growing environment and interaction are unknown. This study examined Australian pulse quality method for its effectiveness comparing breeding lines. The main aims were (1) to determine if there significant genotypic differences, (2) quantify trial, testa content seed size (3) any or parameters correlated. information would then be used improve reliability efficiency testing RESULTS: Large differences observed dehulling (DE) splitting yield (SY). range was greater SY (16.6%) than DE (5.8%). Genotype × Trial interactions SY, while genotype rankings generally consistent between trials. Seed not significantly associated with either SY. Environmental stresses affected did appear influence results. CONCLUSION: methodology this able measure results suggest an efficient protocol genotypes include analysis at least two sites early programme discard very-low-SY genotypes, further subsequent years including one other site identify high-SY desired.
