摘要: Glycosphingolipids (GSLs) contain many carbohydrate epitopes or crypto-glycotopes for Gal and GalNAc reactive lectins. Many of them are in the nervous system function as important receptors various life processes. During past two decades, 11 mammalian structural units have been used to express binding domain applied They are: F, alpha1 --> 3GalNAc; A, 3Gal; T, beta1 I, 3GlcNAc; II, 4GlcNAc; B, E, 4Gal; L, 4Glc; P, S, 4Gal, Tn, Ser(Thr). Although 10 occur GSLs, only 3 (Lbeta, Sbeta, Tbeta) found human brain, 2 (Lbeta IIbeta) present inner structures blood group active GSLs. In families gangliosides, Lbeta IIbeta represent 55% total units, while other three (Tbeta, Palpha, Sbeta) constitute rest. To facilitate selection lectins that could serve probes, specificities Gal/GalNAc classified according their highest affinity properties expressed by decreasing order reactivity. Hence, relation between GSLs specific can be established.
