The relationship with the metabolic syndrome, however, has received only limited attention. present study was designed to investigate associations between change type and prevalence syndrome components from aspect on-the-job alteration in life style. Methods Thirty-six male workers manufacturing department were transferred carsales at same automobile company 1992 1993. These back after two years. Results Five had or more car-sales (Group I). One demonstrated improvement, three no change, one increase symptoms A B. Seven than II), six them exhibited decrease department. also showed elevated liver enzymes serum appearance components, recover. Three time point C III), while remaining 21 0 component throughout observation period IV). Amount increased significantly when working sales but these items returned previous values rejoining manufacturing, though differences not observed II) without IV) syndrome. Body mass index (BMI) alanine aminotransferase (ALT) moved significant Group II IV. JCQ changed during transfer, Logistic regression analysis age, lifestyle, JCQ, ALT revealed elevation value associated having hours sleep an inverse association. Conclusion Elevated reduction may be development who their job.
