摘要: Abstract Cancer is a genetic disease. The impact of alterations tumor cells on cancer patient prognosis and treatment has been extensively demonstrated in the past decades. In addition, based knowledge essential role development progression, new generation targeted antitumoral drugs being developed with outstanding results, providing evidence necessity stratification patients according to their characteristics. Scientific discoveries resulting from application DNA sequencing technologies have supported continuous genotyping technologies, highlighting its both enhance basic biological provide tools for stratification. This chapter will review some most common techniques used analyze human variation, together relevant research leading introduction genetics clinical setting.
