摘要: The current grouping of patients with malignant melanoma into thin, intermediate, and thick melanomas provides a convenient but arbitrary classification which, although providing "average" survival values for each group, offers crude prognostication the individual patient. A review 371 clinical Stage I melanoma, treated during period 1970 to 1985, was conducted. estimated 5-year rate female 1.0 mm 94%; 1-mm increment in thickness declined by about 3%, up 6 mark, declining thereafter 8% additional millimeter range 7 15 thickness. male 80%; 9%, 10 mark. proposed method estimating expected according patient's sex primary lesion hopefully more accurate clinician dealing specific intermediate or melanomas.
