摘要: Abstract Grain size changes on microstructural and magnetic properties of holmium substituted yttrium iron garnet with x = 1.5, (Y3-xHoxFe5O12) has been discovered in this research work. The influence grain via sintering temperature a sample’s Holmium YIG (Ho-YIG) samples scrutinized experimentally. In study, Ho-YIG was mechanically alloyed for 2 h mixture oxide (Y2O3), (Ho2O3) (Fe2O3). Then, the were sintered at distinct temperatures 1000 to 1400 °C 100 °C increment. morphology, physical studied order comprehend resulting materials. Single phase cubic structure observed without any other crystallographic confirmed through XRD spectra. formed 1100 °C. FESEM micrographs showed smaller compared pure reported literature as consequences substitution. effects substitution permeability values B–H hysteresis loops clearly seen since dominant magnetization process (spin rotation movement ease domain walls) interrupted by presence rare earth element decreased saturation values. Substitution makes better soft material which may be used electronic devices microwave region.
