SOME EFFECTS OF PLANTING PATTERN ON YIELD, PER CENT OIL AND PER CENT PROTEIN IN MANDARIN (OTTAWA) SOYBEANS

摘要: The performance of Mandarin (Ottawa) soybeans was tested over a 4-year period in fifteen planting patterns resulting from five row spacings (7, 14, 21, 28 and 35 inches) three plant (1, 2, 3 within the row. Response yield oil percentage to spacing considerable. combination narrowest widest (7 × 3) gave highest yield, whereas per cent obtained (35 × 3).
