摘要: Abstract Previous investigators have reported a high prevalence of depressive symptoms in drug-dependent patients. Given the responsiveness disorders to both psychological and pharmacological treatments, it is desirable find an economical, efficient screening instrument detect this population. In study, 6 depression symptom scales (Beck Depression Inventory, Hamilton Scale, Raskin Degree Illness Rating, Symptom Checklist 90 Overall, Subscale) based on either clinician interview or patient self report, were compared according their utility detecting cases among 64 applicants for treatment at substance abuse unit community mental health center. The criteria case Research Diagnostic Criteria (RDC) which are specified operationalized. Cases identified using previously described cutoff scores rates RDC sensitivity specificity determined. results showed that: (1) although was acceptable, ranging from 65–94%, less impressive, 39–61%, (2) Beck 13-item report most sensitive specific recommended screeningdrug-dependent populations depression.
