摘要: OBJECTIVE AND METHOD: Diagnosis and treatment of the dissociative disorders may be delayed for many years because difficulties in detecting patients at high risk disorders. This study investigates utility Dissociative Experiences Scale (DES), a self-report instrument experiences, The clinician-administered Structured Clinical Interview DSM-III-R Disorders (SCID-D) was used as diagnostic standard, 36 outpatients with mixed diagnoses nine normal subjects were evaluated presence absence disorder. DES scores then compared. RESULTS: Results indicate that cutoff score 15-20 yields good to excellent sensitivity specificity screening instrument. However, higher points can much lower. CONCLUSIONS: Thus, although identify some high-risk patients, they should further such instruments SCID-D or by in-depth clinical follow-up.
