摘要: In a changing climate it is important to understand how all components of the system may change. For many impact sectors, particularly those relating flooding and water resources, changes in precipitation intensity amount are much more than temperature. This study assesses possible extreme intensities estimated through both quantile return period analysis over Britain. Results using regional model (with greenhouse gas following IS92a scenario for 2080-2100) indicate dramatic increases heaviest events The results provide information alter design storm take future change into account, structures/projects that have long life times.
