摘要: This paper evaluates the simulation of precipitation in four successive versions UK Met. Office/Hadley Centre global climate model (GCM) that have been used to perform change experiments. The fields over land from control integrations these experiments are compared with observed on a scale and for selected regions. Globally, improvements simulating mean monthly patterns occur simulations. poorest correlations highest root square errors boreal summer months. A major improvement South Asian monsoon by most recent is noted. pattern temporal variability later areas generally well simulated. correlation between Southern Oscillation Index anomalies has improved latest version.
