摘要: The assessment of the renal arteries is particularly important in detection a renovascular cause arterial hypertension. purpose present study was twofold: to evaluate accuracy duplex scanning non-invasively diagnosing artery stenoses hypertensive patients, and determine results transluminal angioplasty as assessed by scanning. In 76 patients with hyertension, 170 (18 kidneys supplied two arteries) were examined both angiography (DSA intraarterial intravenous technique, conventional arteriography). Peak systolic end-diastolic flow velocity parameters well Pourcelot-index determined proximal compared indendently performed angiography. 102 angiographically proven normal arteries, mean +/- SD peak values 84.7 13.9 cm/s 31.2 7.8 cm/s, respectively, 0.66 0.07. For detecting greater than 50%, had sensitivity 86%, specificity 83% for 140 more artery. 13 14 stenosed DSA densitometry before after stenoses. There fairly good agreement between transstenotic velocities densitometrically degrees stenosis (r = 0.84). These show that an accurate noninvasive diagnostic tool stenoses.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
