摘要: The aminoglycosidic antibiotic hygromycin B presents a peculiar chemical structure, characterized by two sugar rings joined via spiro connection. Cu(II) complex of in water solution was 1H-NMR, UV-Vis, EPR and CD spectroscopy, combined with potentiometric measurements. spin–lattice relaxation enhancements were interpreted the Solomon-Bloembergen-Morgan theory, allowing us to calculate copper-proton distances that used build model molecular mechanics dynamics calculations. fidelity proposed checked ROESY maps. Moreover DNA damage Cu(II)-hygromycin system also investigated, showing single double strand scissions exerted at concentrations range 1–5 mM. Addition either hydrogen peroxide or ascorbic acid each sample resulted shift cleavage potency towards lower complex.
