摘要: Abstract The refractive indices n and surface tensions σ of liquid binary mixtures {xc-(CH2)4O + (1  − x)CH3(CH2)mCH3,m =  (4 to 8)} were measured at T =  298.15 K over the whole concentration range. densities ρ  − x)CH3(CH2)8CH3} also this temperature. data are discussed in terms molecular interactions chain length -alkane. Lorentz–Lorenz, Dale–Gladstone, Eykman, Oster, Arago–Biot, Newton equations used predict excess molar volumes from refractometric measurements, as well a modified Eykman equation with parameter obtained for each system dn / dT , dρ / dT pure components. most accurate predictions those Oster parametrized equations. Surface predicted using Sugden assumption mole-wise additivity parachor more (between 2 per cent 7 cent) than based on index by combining definition refraction R adopting additional forR .
