摘要: Abstract Studies on the effects of gamma radiation infectivity Trypanosoma rangeli (strain H14) for vector Rhodnius prolixus revealed that (i) LD 50 (lethal dose 50% bugs) uninfected insects was 4147 rads; (ii) irradiated with a 1200 rads subsequently infected flagellates exhibited mortality 45%, while showed 5%, and nonirradiated 10% mortality; (iii) were present in hemolymph 7 days postinfection (p.i.), parasites appeared hemocoel 18 days p.i.; (iv) T. infection decreased number hemocytes significantly induced formation nodules both insects; (v) irradiation affected ultrastructural organization epithelial cells small intestine, principally perimicrovillar membranes microvilli. In this paper, we discuss significance intestinal microenvironment R. regard to its interaction .
