摘要: There is a high prevalence of depression in patients with epilepsy, which negatively impacts their quality life (QOL) and seizure control. Currently, the first-line treatment for epilepsy based on selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). The main objective this pilot study was to compare cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) versus SSRIs major depressive disorder (MDD) temporal lobe (TLE). Seven who received group CBT were compared eight treated SSRIs. All diagnosed MDD TLE. Patients assessed at baseline before six 12weeks during Quality Life Epilepsy Scale 31 items (QOLIE 31), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Hospital Anxiety (HADS).
