摘要: Crohn's disease is a chronic granulomatous inflammatory of the gastrointestinal tract, which can involve almost any segment from mouth to anus. Typically, lesions attain segmental and asynchronous distribution with varying levels seriousness, although sites most frequently involved are terminal ileum proximal colon. A single gold standard for diagnosis CD not available confirmed by clinical evaluation combination endoscopic, histological, radiological, and/or biochemical investigations. In recent years, many studies have been performed investigate diagnostic potential less invasive more patient-friendly imaging modalities in including conventional enteroclysis, ultrasonography, color-power Doppler, contrast-enhanced multidetector CT MRI 99mTc-HMPAO-labeled leukocyte scintigraphy. The role each modality has be considered different degrees disease, because there no technique that allows correct may similar results every institution. aim this paper point out advantages limitations various techniques patients suspected or proven disease.
