摘要: An immunocytochemical assay (ICA) for the measurement of estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone (PgR) has been evaluated in 426 human primary breast carcinomas. For determination ER ICA was used. PgR performed using monoclonal antibody KD 68. Assay results immunocytochemistry were agreement (P less than 0.0001) with those biochemical 74%. Progesterone positivity determined a semiquantified approach based on intensity heterogeneity staining correlated significantly biochemically levels = 0.0001). Survival data showed better overall survival patients either ICA- or ICA-positive carcinomas (ER ICA, P 0.00001; 0.004). Patients both negative poorer prognosis only one receptor. In trend could be found that whose contained high numbers receptor-positive tumor cells had survival. This study demonstrates are strong prognostic indicators proportion steroid hormone seems to clinical importance.
