Failure of Methadone and Levomethadyl Acetate (Levo-Alpha-Acetylmethadol, LAAM) Maintenance to Affect Memory

摘要: • Memory tests were administered to 30 patients taking methadone hydrochloride and 31 levomethadyl acetate (levo-alpha-acetylmethadol, LAAM) both prior treatment after one three months of continuous treatment. A group nonopiate using matched control subjects was the at similar intervals. No statistically significant difference in test performance found among these groups any sessions. The also did not differ significantly frequency subjective reports decreased memory function. Previous deficits during long-term administration may be a result comparing single point time assuming that maintenance equivalent.
