Distortion measurements on the E-region using group and phase height measurements

摘要: Abstract In this paper we consider the effect of distortions in electron density profile E -region caused by lunar and regular solar (S R ) ionospheric currents, on group phase heights radio waves reflected -region. A simple model is proposed to predict amplitude variation variations height. Phase height results obtained at equivalent vertical frequencies 1.8 2.4 MHz are presented with previously shown be agreement model.
