摘要: A performance analysis is presented for the vapour compression parallel feed multiple effect evaporation water desalination system. The systems include mechanical (MVC) and thermal (TVC) compression. system models take into account dependence of stream physical properties on temperature salinity, thermodynamic losses, depression in caused by pressure losses non-condensable gases, flashing within effects, presence boxes. performed as a function brine distribution configuration (parallel or parallel/cross flow), top temperature, blowdown, difference compressed condensate blowdown. focused variations parameters that control product cost, which includes specific heat transfer area, ratio, power consumption, conversion flow rate cooling water. Results show consistent behaviour with industrial practice, where ratio TVC decreases at higher temperatures, while consumption MVC temperatures. Also, area all configurations operating found to depend be independent mode. For configuration, increase temperature. On other hand, blowdown Predictions both good agreement field data.
